Ages 5-9 • Yoga & Movement for Littles
Learn yoga, embody mindfulness, and become more kind to yourself and others with yoga postures, breathing exercises, positive affirmations, and collaborative poses and games.
Uplifting yoga classes mixed with music, creativity, and fun that exercise and balance body and mind simultaneously while instilling confidence, cultivating gratitude, promoting relaxation techniques, encouraging teamwork, teaching kindness and non-judgement toward self and others, and allowing children to flourish into their own unique versions.
Stretching, bending, balancing, mindful breathing and bringing to mind what we are grateful for all feel innately good and encourages self-expression.
Without seemingly realizing it, children are learning techniques to help their bodies become healthier, stronger, more flexible, and more relaxed leading them on the path toward a more calm and balanced mind that mirror their body and fosters emotional regulation. By using this sensory based play to stay in the moment and embody mindfulness they are better able to handle stress, develop empathy, and be more relaxed, happy, loving, patient, and kind toward themselves and others leading to more harmony in their lives and all the lives they touch.
