You own a store. You want a profit. You do the math!

Your Business Math: Pet Shop Edition by Simply Charlotte Mason is a fun and “living math” program that reinforces math skills. Your student uses math knowledge to keep his or her very own store running and, hopefully, make a profit. But there are also some surprises along the way! This hands on project based math program will also include all of the behind the scenes real life skills that future young entrepreneurs need to be successful! We will create our own miniature pet stores, create inventory sheets, “take and fill” orders from clients, make an online store website page, and more. ​Class time will include reading, interactives, and videos. We will then discuss the material learned and focus on individual and collaborative hands-on learning projects to reinforce what they learned.

​Your Business Math is skill and not age based. It is designed for students who are able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide at least double digit numbers. We will be using a calculator for this class and students younger students will have easier “store transactions” to work with. The average student age is 10-12 but 8-13 year old students have been successful in this class.
